I firmly believe that each labour and each mother is unique and should be approached as such. There is no
magic formula for birth that works for everyone. Each labour should have a unique, detailed birth plan to
anticipate and plan for all possible contingencies.
I always meet with the mother-to-be, and father/partner if possible, at least twice, well before the due date,
to develop a birth plan customized to your unique needs and desires. In the last month before the due date, I
typically engage in regular weekly, or more frequent, phone calls to make sure any questions you might have are
answered, and to make sure everything is going as planned.
I never book more than two clients in any given four-week period, ensuring as much as possible, that I will be
available for your birth.
I believe that birth is a magical, yet complicated event, and that with the proper planning and support, can be
